Lunch and Activities Keep Seniors Connected

BACOA offers older adults the opportunity to engage and connect with peers every Monday by providing food, fun and lots of Bingo at its Monday Lunch and Activity Program held at the Barrington Park District, 235 Lions Drive, Barrington.

Doors open at 10:30 a.m.; bingo begins at 11:00 a.m.; lunch is served at noon. Game days end at 2:30 p.m.

Lunch cost is $7. Preregistration is required; please call BACOA at 847-381-5030.

Monday, October 30

Lots of Halloween fun is planned. Get into the spooky spirt by wearing your Halloween costume! Park district pre-school students will be dropping by for a visit and all October birthdays will be celebrated with cake and ice cream courtesy of Rosewood Care Center.

Mondays, Nov. 6, 13 & 27

Bingo & Lunch; November birthdays will be celebrated on Nov. 27.

Monday, Nov. 20

Enjoy turkey and all the fixings at this special Thanksgiving Day lunch sponsored by Algonquin's East Gate Manor, Barrington's Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, Autumn Leaves of South Barrington and Barrington's Noon Rotary Club. Entertainment provided by Crystal Clear Music who will feature their program: Unforgettable…Sophisticated Songs of the 50s and 60s. Lunch is free but registration is required.
