50-year-old Elgin woman gets probation for cutting boyfriend with knife
An Elgin woman accused of slicing her boyfriend's arm with a knife during an argument last July pleaded guilty to aggravated battery.
Sabrina Bailey, 50, was sentenced to 24 months probation Tuesday and ordered to pay $649 in fines in exchange for her guilty plea, court records show.
Prosecutors said the incident followed a daylong argument between the couple on July 5.
According to prosecutors, Bailey swung the knife at the man in retaliation for the names he called her.
