Downtown Palatine's 'Holidays on the Town' Event Returns Friday, November 17

'Tis the season to gather some friends and embark upon a kick off to the holidays in downtown Palatine! Mark your calendar for Friday, November 17, 2017, between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. and participate in the annual Holidays on the Town event, presented by the Downtown Palatine Business Association (DBPA).

This popular event continues to grow, and marks the start to the holiday season as the DPBA Holiday Trolley whisks attendees to each of the quaint shops, storefronts, restaurants, and more in historic downtown Palatine. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres and wine tastings will be offered at select locations, in addition to product and service demonstrations, special giveaways and other seasonal offers. Santa will even be visiting and taking pictures (and selfies) with event attendees!

"Holidays on the Town is one of the most entertaining evenings of the year - for the customers and the DPBA member businesses," said Mica Mahler, DPBA president and co-owner of Cook, Cork & Fork. "We are thrilled this event continues to grow with people from Palatine and the surrounding suburbs who can take the trolley around town and get pampered, taste great wines, find the perfect gift, win prizes and have fun."

Mahler added that with 23 businesses participating this year, the organization is excited to share the evening with the local community to show off all that downtown Palatine has to offer.

A Holidays on the Town Passport is required to attend the event and to ride the DPBA Trolley, and will be available for purchase beginning Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at any of the participating locations, and on the night of the event for $5.
