Arlington Heights police search for liquor store robber

Arlington Heights police are searching for a man who robbed a liquor store on Sunday.

Just before noon, a man with a handgun entered Liquor and Wine on 4218 N. Arlington Heights Road and demanded money from the cashier. No injuries were reported.

The robber is described as a white man between the ages of 20 and 25, standing 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 200 to 235 pounds. He was wearing a green camouflage jacket, dark basketball shorts with a blue stripe and black gym shoes, and his face was covered by a black ski mask. Police said a witness saw the thief enter a black SUV.
