Russell Road to close at crossing

Russell Road at the Union Pacific Railroad crossing west of Route 131 (Green Bay Road) will be closed two days for repairs. The closure will begin at 6 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, and is scheduled to reopen in the late afternoon Friday, Nov. 3. The closure is needed for work to improve the smoothness of the ride over the crossing. Local traffic will be allowed on Russell Road from Kilbourne Road east to the crossing and from Green Bay Road west to the crossing. The detour route is Kilbourne Road to Route 173 to Green Bay Road.
