Opioid and substance-use forum

An Opioid & Substance Use Community Forum will be held Thursday, Oct. 26 at Foglia YMCA, 1025 N. Old McHenry Road, Lake Zurich. Doors open at 6 p.m., with a panel discussion at 6:30 p.m. The objective is to help raise awareness of the increase in substance use and the relationship to the overall health of individuals, families and the community. Topics include: the growing pandemic; education regarding addiction, prevention, and early detection; intervention; treatment options and available resources.
