Route 31 road closure in downtown Geneva this weekend

Route 31 will be closed Saturday between State and Campbell streets in Geneva because of a construction project at a restaurant at the corner.
Crews installing a fire suppression system as part of the expansion of Sergio's Cantina have to cut through all lanes of the pavement, according to a news release from the city.
The road will be closed from 8 a.m. Saturday to 8 p.m. Sunday. Patching work on Monday might cause temporary lane closures.
If it rains, the work could be postponed to Oct. 28.
