District 220 has steady enrollment

Barrington Area Unit District 220's enrollment remains steady for the 2017-18 academic year, officials said. According to the latest figures presented at a District 220 school board meeting this week, there were about 8,700 students enrolled at the 30-day mark. Enrollment is slightly down at every grade level, except prekindergarten. However, the data shows enrollment overall has remained relatively stable over the past few years.
