Learn the story behind 'It's a Wonderful Life'

Learn the background behind a beloved Christmas movie when actress and historian Leslie Goddard presents "It's a Wonderful Life: The Making of a Holiday Classic."

The program begins at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Glen Ellyn History Center, 800 N. Main St., Glen Ellyn.

In the illustrated lecture, find out the little known information about the filming of the movie. Cary Grant was supposed to be the star - not Jimmy Stewart. Goddard shares rare photographs taken behind the scenes.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for Glen Ellyn Historical Society members, and $5 for students 18 and younger.
