Murphy hosting senior fair in Des Plaines

State Sen. Laura Murphy is hosting a senior fair at the Des Plaines Public Library Monday, Oct. 23.

The fair is 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in meeting rooms B and C in the library at 1501 Ellinwood Ave.

Exhibitors will include the Regional Transportation Authority with applications for reduced fares, the Illinois attorney general's office with information on fraud and identity theft, and Walgreens Pharmacy with free blood pressure screenings, among others.

This event is free and open to the public.
