Come out for Grayslake's Pumpkin Fest

The Grayslake Park District will present its 10th annual Pumpkin Fest from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, at the Central Park Aquatic Fields.

The event offers an evening of family-friendly Halloween activities, including hay rides, moon walks, a giant slide and Halloween games.

A Halloween character path will be open from 5:30-7 p.m., and a costume contest will be at 7 p.m.

Register Wednesday, Oct. 18, for $8 per child. Registration is available at the event for $13 per child; adult admission is free with a paying child.

Central Park is at 250 Library Lane, Grayslake.

The rain date is Thursday, Oct. 26.
