Tailenders XI beat defending champions HDCC to lift (IPLCC) season 4 Cricket Tournament
There are a lot of special cricket events and tournaments taking place in the Chicago and its suburbs every year. Illinois Premier League Cricket Conference (IPLCC) is a leader in cricket development and promotion in Chicago and its Suburbs founded by President, IPLCC Raees Nizami. IPLCC is graced with talented cricketers. IPLCC has kept cricket alive in the Chicago since many years. All the credits go to Raees Nizami. IPLCC is a professional Cricket league in the Chicago.
One of the most popular and Biggest Illinois Premier League Cricket Conferences, which were started four years ago had Great Successes and Popularity in Chicagoland. In this 30/30 league cricket tournament played between the 6 Teams and each team inclusion of Local Players and Several out of state Players took part in this competition each year. The IPLCC follows on from the ICC league Format. This year's tournament runs from May 2017 to October 2017. The tournament was managed and hosted by President, IPLCC Raees Nizami.
The tournament was played at Warren Park Cricket Ground, Just a few blocks north of Devon Ave on Western Ave. Chicago, IL. The games start at 9 am.
Tail Enders defeated the defending champions Hyderabad Deccan Cricket Club in the final to win the 4th season Illinois Premier League Cricket Conference held at the Warren Park stadium on the October 08, 2017.
Hyderabad Deccan Cricket Club won the Toss and took fielding first in the final against Tail Enders. Tail Enders put on a total of 205 runs. Cricket team played wonderful performance. They played strokes all over the field. That's kind of game of when champions are made. But none of the Hyderabad Deccan Cricket Club batsman managed to play long innings to chase the huge target and they were all out at 130 runs.
The teams that played in the tournament were Hyderabad Deccan Cricket Club (HDCC), Friends XI, Tail Enders, Thunder Birds, Sultan, and Sher Indians.
More than 250 guests, including the numbers cricket legends from all over of the USA, local politicians, businessmen, and IPLCC board members, attended the awards Ceremony. The chief guests were Consulate-General of Pakistan in Chicago Mr. Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, State Senator Ira Silverstein, and Alderman Debra Silverstein of the 50th Ward who gave away the winner and runner-up trophies and prize money. There were separate awards for the best bowler, best batsman and fair play. Ahmed Ullah Adil become best bowler Jaimin Patel best batsman.
The participating teams were very complimentary in their praise of IPLCC and the tournament organizers, for a well-executed tournament. Winner Captain Tail Enders Mr. Ankush Kasker Said "Each of the Team member is behind the Successes. We played very well and hard".
IPLCC President Raees Nizami thanked City of Chicago, Chicago Park District, supporters, guests, media organizations, volunteers and IPLCC board members, noting that without their support, the tournament season was impossible to succeed.
