Mundelein High banquet

Friday, Oct. 20 is the last day to buy tickets for the Mundelein High School Distinguished Alumni Awards Banquet set for Saturday, Nov. 4 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Mundelein. Cost of the event, which begins at 5:30 p.m. with a cash bar followed by the dinner and awards ceremony at 6:30 p.m., is $50 for adults and $20 for children 12 and under. Ten graduates will be honored for their accomplishments. The awards cover categories including government and military, business and finance, science and technology, philanthropy and others. The honorees are: Zaneta Stinson Adams, '95; Britt Hanson, '95; Tami Haukedahl, '76; Deirdre Healey, '81; Jay Hightower, '94; Hemal Patel, '94; Gary Schnurrpusch, '65; Raymond Semple, '79; Nicole Suveges, '88 (posthumous); and James Swanson, 67.
