Fall family festival being held Oct. 22 in Lake Villa

Busy Brains Children's Museum will host its fourth annual Fall Family Festival from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, at Lehmann Park, 148 Cedar Ave., in downtown Lake Villa. Activities include an art contest, science activities, tractor rides, an obstacle course, face painting, games and a raffle. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. Admission is $7 per family, with a $2 savings offered to families bringing an item to donate to Hoof, Woof, Meow Animal Rescue. Busy Brains Children's Museum was co-founded in 2004 by area educators Alison Price and Kathy Goers, and is a registered 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization.
