Meet Lake County tourism chief at Round Lake Beach chat

Maureen Riedy, president of the Visit Lake County tourism bureau, is the guest at the next Fireside Chat at the Round Lake Beach Cultural & Civic Center, off Hook Drive west of Route 83.

The event takes place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 11.

Fireside chats are held monthly with Mayor Richard Hill hosting different local, county and state officials. The evening will include a meet and greet; an informal conversation between Hill, Riedy, and guest moderators, and a Q&A session. Coffee and desserts will be provided, compliments of the village.
