Le Chocolat bakery expanding in Naperville

Le Chocolat du Bouchard is expanding to a second location in Naperville.

The business is celebrating two milestones — the 10th anniversary of its flagship store in historic downtown Naperville and the grand opening of its new bakery just 3 miles south of downtown Naperville.

The new Le Chocolat Bakery & Chocolates is located in the Hawthorne Square Shopping Center, 1807 S. Washington St., Suite 118. A grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled to take place at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26.

Complimentary desserts, chocolates, free give-a-ways and special raffle items benefiting local charity, Little Friends will be offered.

Le Chocolat Bakery & Chocolates offers desserts, chocolates and pastries.

The bakery offers a wide variety of cookies, macaroons, brownies, cakes, croissants, the famous Pradel, top-seller Death by Chocolate cake and carrot cake. The bakery employs about 10 full time bakers.

“We are excited to add another convenient location to pick up all your favorite desserts. The new bakery gives us the additional square footage space we needed to grow, and to continue delivering exceptional quality and service to our cherished customers and fans,” said Le Chocolat owner Cathy Bouchard.

“Ten years is quite a milestone when you are a family-owned and operated business. I am proud of how far we have come and survived in this competitive market, but it's been pure joy bringing smiles to all who enter here. I never tire of the oohs and aahs,” Bouchard said.
