North Chicago job fair for veterans

Dozens of employers are scheduled to be at a job fair 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 12, at the Great Lakes Community Center in Forrestal Village housing, 2007 Virginia Ave., North Chicago. The event is co-sponsored by the Lovell Federal Health Care Center's Vocational Rehabilitation Unit and Naval Station Great Lakes Fleet and Family Support Center's Transition Assistance and Family Readiness programs. It is open to active duty military members, veterans, military retirees, reservists, eligible family members and Department of Defense employees.
