Special events at new Palatine fitness studio

A family-owned fitness studio that recently opened in Palatine has a couple of special events set for this month. BALL4Training, a 7,000-square-foot fitness facility at 345 N. Eric Drive, Suite 500, will host a health, fitness and beauty expo from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8. There also will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house Monday, Oct. 30. Palatine Mayor Jim Schwantz is expected to attend the Oct. 30 event. Husband and wife Todd and Kasia Ball own BALL4Training. For more information, check ball4training.org.
