Lombard Park District sponsors Fall Fest
Lombard Park District's Fall Fest on Saturday, Oct. 7, invites kids to pick a pumpkin to carve, join a candy hunt and play games.
The free festival will feature a variety of activities, including games, a DJ, moon bounce, hayrides, face paintings, candy hunt, Boo Bingo and more from 1 to 4 p.m. at Lombard Common, east of Paradise Bay Water Park, 433 E. St. Charles Road.
Children who would like to participate in the pumpkin decorating contest should complete their pumpkin by 3:45 p.m., when winners will be announced.
Kids also can pick out their own pumpkin from the fest's Pumpkin Patch, whether they enter the decorating contest or not.
