Stop by grand re-opening of Jim Hansen Park Oct. 5

On Thursday, Oct. 5, South Elgin Parks and Recreation will hold a grand reopening of the Jim Hansen Park, 338 Valley Forge Ave., at 6 p.m.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at the park which is reopening after two months of construction.

The community is encouraged to attend the ribbon-cutting ceremony and enjoy the fall season with an evening in the park.
