University Center offers financial aid workshops
For the 10th consecutive year, the University Center of Lake County has collaborated with multiple partners across Lake County to organize a series of workshops where students and families can electronically submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid.
The 2017-18 series will begin Monday, Oct. 2, and be held in the computer labs of high schools, colleges, libraries, and nonprofit organizations until Jan. 9, 2018.
Volunteers trained by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission are available to provide assistance. The workshops are open to any student seeking aid for college regardless of where the student wants to attend.
