Six DuPage teams joined Naperville Central with a fifth win and playoff eligibility: Glenbard West, Hinsdale Central, IC Catholic Prep, Neuqua Valley, Wheaton North and Willowbrook.

Back on track

Lake Park broke a three-game losing streak - filled with heartbreak - with a 41-0 win over Metea Valley. Quarterback Jackson Behles led the way with 223 passing yards to eight different receivers.

Bouncing back

Benet bounced back from last week's loss to Nazareth by rolling to a 49-13 ESCC win over Marian Catholic. Michael Wymer sparked the victory by blocking his second punt of the season.

Ruiz for three

Neuqua Valley kicker Stephen Ruiz booted field goals of 37, 45 and a school-record 50 yards, and the Wildcats needed all three of them to hold on for a 31-28 victory over Naperville North.
