Buffalo Grove rolls, clinches playoff berth

Buffalo Grove 44, Elk Grove 7: Buffalo Grove's football team had already become eligible for the playoffs after Week 5.

In Week 6, the Bison cemented a spot in the postseason, improving to 6-0 overall and 2-0 in the Mid-Suburban East by handling visiting Elk Grove 44-7 on Thursday.

BG's defense has allowed a total of just 36 points this fall.

Elk Grove slipped to 0-6 overall and 0-2 in the MSL East.

Buffalo Grove travels to Hersey on Friday for a matchup of teams with 2-0 MSL East records in Week 7, while Elk Grove will play host to Rolling Meadows.
