Liberal agenda shows in health care story

I see that your support for liberal Democrat opinions continue to be presented as news. On page 2 of your Sept. 20 edition you ran a Washington Post story captioned "10 governors oppose GOP health care bill." Your bias glares out in two ways.

1. The story states, "The measure marks the last gasp of Republican attempts to gut Obama's Affordable Care Act, which has added millions to the ranks of the insured ... leading to record lows in the number of those without health insurance." But it fails to point out that thousands of those in the "ranks of the insured" have such astronomically high deductibles and copays that they can't afford to use their insurance. You also fail to point out that the reason for record lows in the number of people without insurance is because people are forced to pay the rapidly soaring rates by threat of federal government fines.

2. The story hides in the very last paragraph the fact that 50 percent more governors support the bill. You could have written your headline as "15 governors support GOP health care bill." But you didn't.

Please stick to reporting news and put your opinions and promotion of the liberal Democrat agenda on the "Opinion" page.
