Mortgage company name going on central Indiana amphitheater

NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (AP) - Fort-Wayne based Ruoff (ROO'-off) Home Mortgage is putting its name on central Indiana's largest outdoor concert venue.

The deal announced Wednesday gives Ruoff the corporate naming rights for the 24,000-person capacity amphitheater in Noblesville that had been known as Klipsch Music Center since 2011.

Ruoff president Mark Music says putting its name on the amphitheater builds the home mortgage company's brand in its home state as part of its growth strategy. Terms of what was described as a multi-year agreement with venue owner Live Nation Entertainment weren't released.

The amphitheater opened in 1989 as Deer Creek Music Center in the northern Indianapolis suburbs. It was sponsored by Verizon for 10 years before Indianapolis-based speaker manufacturer Klipsch acquired the naming rights, but decided against renewing its deal.
