Presentation focuses on state of Elmhurst Park District

Residents interested in the future of Elmhurst Park District can get a sneak peek early next month at the second annual State of the Park District address.

The presentation aims to provide a look at district projects, accomplishments and future plans while also serving as an introduction and overview of how the park board and staff work together to serve the community.

The program is scheduled for 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, at the Wagner Community Center, 615 West Ave.

This year's address will highlight the recently completed Vision 2020 Comprehensive and Strategic planning process.

"The State of the Park District address is just another way the district can communicate with residents," Executive Director Jim Rogers said. "We look forward to providing the information and receiving feedback from community members."

Networking will begin at 7 p.m. with the roughly 45-minute presentation beginning at 7:15 p.m.
