Yes, abolish the electoral college

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your editorial calling for an end to the electoral college. Every point you made was reasonable and for the good of our country. The college was never meant to assure fairness in our elections, as you stated. This topic is raised after every presidential election, then seems to fade into the ether. If we really believe that all men (all citizens) are created equal, then the goal of ending the electoral college should be espoused by all thinking Americans and pursued until it is finally achieved.
