North Chicago stopped its losing "streak" at 1 game.

The host Warhawks prevailed 21-7 on Friday in a Northern Lake County Conference matchup against Wauconda.

North Chicago improves to 4-1 overall and 2-1 in the league, while the Bulldogs slipped to 0-5 and 0-3. The loss eliminated Wauconda from playoff contention for the first time since 2014.
