Maine West gets breakthrough win at Glenbrook North

Maine West produce an eye-opening result in its Central Suburban North debut on Friday against host Glenbrook North.

The Warriors, who'd fallen in the last 14 straight matchups with the Spartans, won 42-17 to improve to 4-1 overall and 1-0 in the North.

Glenbrook North slipped to 3-2 and 0-1.

The Maine West team coached by Jason Kradman hosts Maine East in a Friday matchup in Week 6, while Glenbrook North takes to the road to play Highland Park.
