Metea Valley High School Rocks their first McTeacher's Night at the Naperville McDonald's

Metea Valley High School in District 204 held its first McTeacher's Night on Tuesday, September 19th, at the Naperville McDonald's on Route 59.

A McTeacher's Night is organized to help raise money for local schools by having teachers and staff work at McDonald's and then giving a percentage of the night's sales back to the local school.

On September 19th, the restaurant was taken over by teachers, staff members and cheerleaders from MVHS excited to serve freshly prepared meals to students and their families to raise money for student activities and the school PTSA.

There were 20 teachers and staff who worked from the school including Principal Dr. Echols who volunteered the entire night to be in a pie box to help raise money for the school. The McTeacher's jobs included greeting guests, cleaning the lobby, working the front counter, serving drinks, clearing tables, selling apple pies and even dressing up as an apple pie.

Thank you to teacher and coach David Schumacher who organized the entire event. Metea Valley High School teachers and staff worked hard and with excitement, while the families enjoyed a spectacular evening.
