Should decry alt-left carrying clubs, too

In the Aug. 31 Daily Herald, DuPage County Board Member Elizabeth Chaplin bemoaned President Trump's not being forceful enough in condemning "men carrying torches through the streets of Charlottesville" and" "the sole purpose of those carrying torches was intimidation."

Unfortunately it appears that Ms. Chaplin has no concern over the recent images of masked alt-left anarchists carrying clubs to intimidate peaceful speakers last weekend in Berkley. Until we as a nation condone all acts of violence and intimidation, we will never be at peace with one another.
