Hawthorn Woods Family Fun Fest set for Sept. 23

The 9th annual Family Fun Fest will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 23, at Hawthorn Woods Aquatic Center, 94 N. Midlothian Road (southwest of Gilmer Road) in Hawthorn Woods.

The free event includes crafts, mini train rides, giveaways, and a variety of activities for children and families. Touch a truck vehicles from the Hawthorn Woods police department, public works department, Countryside Fire Protection District and A-Express Towing will be on site. Staff from all village departments also will be on hand to meet and greet.
