Sloppy joes fundraiser for vets in Barrington

An annual fundraiser to benefit hospitalized and homeless military veterans featuring all-you-can-eat sloppy joes is set for Saturday, Sept. 16, in Barrington. Sponsored by VFW Post 7706, the fundraiser is from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Barrington Park District Fitness and Recreation Center, 235 Lions Parkway. The Sloppy Joe dinner tickets cost $5 for adults and is free for children.
