Long Grove updating comprehensive plan

Long Grove's plan commission and zoning board of appeals will host a second public hearing Tuesday, Sept. 19, on a proposed comprehensive plan update. The session is scheduled at 7 p.m. at Kildeer Countryside School, 3100 Old McHenry Road. In a document, the village states the proposed 2017 comprehensive plan update seeks to balance new development and preservation opportunities within the limited areas of the village that remain largely open.
