Grain higher, Livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Dec. delivery was higher 5.20 cents at $4.4840 a bushel; Dec corn was up 2.60 cents at $3.5420 a bushel; December oats gained 2 cents at $2.3960 a bushel while Nov. soybeans was up 9.20 centd to $9.6960 a bushel.
Beef mixed and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle gained .60 cent at $1.0815 a pound; September feeder cattle gained .33 cent at $1.4893 a pound; October lean hogs was .25 cent lower at $.5933 a pound.
