Teachers deserve focus

The banner editorial on Ron Cregier on Sept. 3 was a wonderful tribute to a generous teacher, coach and family man. It honored him and his family for his time, talents, and willingness to help others. The editorial tribute honors all teachers and coaches and is comforting to read in light of criticisms of teachers in recent years. The Herald's monthly focus on successful teachers is a joy to read as it, too, pays tribute to the many teachers who strive daily to help educate and nurture students while caring for their own families.
