Lindenhurst plant exchange Sept. 23

The Lindenhurst Environmental Commission will host a fall plant exchange from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, Sept. 23, at the village hall/public works facility, 2301 E. Sand Lake Road, Lindenhurst.

Bring plants to share or find a new ones. No invasive species. Seeds, bulbs, garden books and magazines also can be exchanged with other gardeners.

Vince Mosca, vice president and senior ecologist with Hey and Associates, Inc., will give a special presentation, "Butterflies, Bats, Booze & People."
