With a 29-7 win Neuqua Valley improved to 15-6 overall against Waubonsie Valley. Jake Eskoff's 98-yard touchdown pass to Patrick Hoffman broke the Wildcats record for longest pass.

IC Catholic Prep quarterback Luke Ricobene is out for the season, but Khalil Saunders stepped up with 83 passing yards, 39 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns in the Knights' 54-0 win over Elmwood Park.

Next man up, part 2

With Naperville Central all-DVC running back A.J. Deinhart banged up, junior Danny Hughes emerged to rush for 108 yards and a touchdown on 10 carries in a 55-7 win over Metea Valley.

Game-changer

A 7-7 halftime tie between Glenbard West and Addison Trail didn't last long. Tyquan Cox returned the opening kick of the second half 90 yards for a touchdown, sparking the Hilltoppers to a 35-10 victory.
