Brats on the menu for four decades at Carl Sandburg Middle School

Mundelein School District 75 held its 40th annual Brat Fest at Carl Sandburg Middle School Friday evening.

"Our school board members and administrators serve the meals to thank community members for their support of our schools," Carl Sandburg Principal Mark Pilut said. The $5 meal included roasted corn on the cob, chips, a drink, and choice of bratwurst, hot dog or tamale. The District 75 PTO sponsored face painting, carnival games, a bungee run and -- new this year - a mechanical bull.
