Mundelein Arts Festival returns this weekend

The seventh annual Mundelein Arts Festival is this weekend at Kracklauer Park, 100 N. Seymour Ave.

The juried art festival will showcase the talents of 45 fine artists who work in a variety of media, as well as the work of students from Mundelein High School.

Judges will award prizes in categories includes best in show, best in category and emerging artist. Mundelein High School will receive scholarship money to award to students pursuing art in college.

The festival will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is free.
