Northeastern Indiana man, 85, shoots wife, 81, after arguing
ANGOLA, Ind. (AP) - Authorities say a domestic dispute between a northeastern Indiana couple in their 80s resulted in a shooting.
Steuben County Prosecutor Jeremy Musser says 81-year-old Dorsey Ford was shot Thursday afternoon in Angola and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a Fort Wayne hospital.
Her husband, 85-year-old Samuel Ford, was arrested on a preliminary charge of attempted murder and was being held at the Steuben County Jail.
Musser says the Fords were engaged in some sort of argument that led up to the shooting. He didn't explain further.
