Boys golf: Wauconda edges Grayslake North

Sophomore Joe Hutson shot a 1-over-par 37, junior Matt Szmajda added a 38, and Wauconda edged host Grayslake North 163-164 in Northern Lake County Conference boys golf action at Renwood Golf Course on Wednesday.

Hutson, who had 2 bogeys, birdied the par-4 seventh hole. Wauconda also received a 43 from Matt O'Brien and 45 from Josh Chapnick.

Grayslake North was led by Chris Ambrose's 40. Lane Getka and Brian Szramek each had a 41 for the Knights.
