Mum sale starts Sept. 12
The annual Glen Ellyn Historical Society Mum Sale fundraiser begins 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, at Stacy's Corners Store, 800 N. Main St., Glen Ellyn.
The store will be overflowing with two-gallon mum plants and 4.5-inch pots of asters, pansies and kale. The mum plants are priced at $15 and three plants for $40. The aster, pansy and kale pots are $4 each.
The store hours after Sept. 12 are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. The mum sale continues through September until all the plants are sold. Customers are encouraged to come early for the best selection.
