Fox Lake author signing debut novel Thursday

Fox Lake author Sergio Rivera will be signing copies of his debut science-fiction novel "My Uncle went to Earth and All I Got Is …" from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Primo Italian Restaurant, 720 Milwaukee Ave. in Gurnee.

Gurnee is the backdrop for some of the story, explores relevant issues and challenges currently affecting our world, from an outside point of view.

Besides being a new author, Rivera is the owner of Momcorn Mexican restaurant in Gurnee.
