BACOA BASH supports area's aging seniors

Everyone's invited to join the Barrington Area Council on Aging as it hosts the annual BACOA BASH from 6-10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8, at Makray Memorial Golf Course, 1010 S. Northwest Hwy., Barrington.

BACOA BASH is an important fundraiser for the agency, which works to assist older adults, care partners and their families with a myriad programs and services.

Last year, BACOA assisted nearly 1,300 Barrington-area residents with everything from Alzheimer's support - including respite care - to social and well programming. BACOA also provides assistance with: memory support, housing options, in-home care, meals, Medicare, Medicare Part D, Medicaid, care giver support and equipment lending.

With the theme "Old Hollywood in Song," the event will feature Barrington's Bob the DJ. Cost is $150. Call BACOA at (847) 381-5030 to make a reservation today.
