Officials: Two men found dead in Gurnee

Two men were found dead Friday evening in Gurnee, officials said.

Gurnee police were called around 5:30 p.m. for a domestic situation at a home on Harper Avenue, according to a department news release. Officers found the two men when they arrived; the preliminary investigation reveals there is no danger to the community, according to the release.

No further information was available late Friday. Gurnee police, along with the Lake County Major Crime Task Force and the Lake County coroner's office, are investigating.
