Buffalo Grove police say juveniles were breaking into cars

Buffalo Grove police say four juveniles from Chicago were arrested in connection with vehicle break-ins in the village. Police said the juveniles were nabbed Tuesday after an anonymous caller reported seeing the four youths going through vehicles in the Cherbourg subdivision about 4 a.m.

Officers found two suspects, ages 16 and 17, trying to get into the car of a ride-share driver. Officers canvassed the area and located the other two juveniles, both 16. Police said it's unknown how many vehicles were unlawfully entered.
