Night life events: Northcott Liquorette opens in Naperville
Northcott Liquorette now open
A new speak-easy just opened in downtown Naperville: Northcott Liquorette. Located just west of the Empire entrance, the new establishment opens at 8 p.m. every Friday and Saturday and features absinthe fountains, liquor-infused teapot kettles, rare whiskey acquisitions and more. Just like during the prohibition, teapot kettles are served ice cold with dry ice and made for four. Try the Stevie Nicks teapot kettle, made with St. George green chili vodka, raw honey, strawberries, green tea, pur likor elderflower, lemon juice, wolfberger gingembre, ginger beer, Thai bitters and an orchid flower garnish for $60. Northcott Liquorette is at 50 W. Chicago Ave., Naperville. thenorthcott.com.
