Gurnee library hosts 'Stories and Strollers' Saturday

The Warren-Newport Library is hosting a Stories and Strollers StoryWalk at 10 a.m. Saturday, at Hunt Club Park, 900 N. Hunt Club Road, in Gurnee.

Starting at the gazebo, library staff will lead children and their parents for a stroll around the park's pond and read them the book "Hooray for Birds" by Lucy Cousins.

After the walk, participants will return to the gazebo where there will be a balloon artist and a face painter.

Signs will be posted at the park leading to the gazebo. No registration is required for the free event.
