Gurnee to review housing proposal

Gurnee officials will review a proposal to build a 66-house subdivision on the west side of Cemetery Road, south of Orchard Valley Drive in west-central Gurnee. The developer, DR Horton, wants informal feedback on its concept development from the Gurnee Planning and Zoning Board at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Gurnee Village Hall, 325 N O'Plaine Road, Gurnee. According to the board's agenda, the 66 single-family houses would be built on a 23.7-acre site. Much of the land is undeveloped.
